In summer 2010, the Forest Legality Alliance commissioned Bernuth & Williamson, a specialty consulting firm, to survey the forest products industry on its response to the Lacey Act, similar demand-side policy measures, and steps the Alliance could take to help the sector adapt. The findings are outlined here in this short memo.
